
Teacher Fellowship
The Mark Cuban Foundation Teacher Fellowship is a yearlong professional development program designed to empower high school educators—regardless of subject area—to learn about AI and thoughtfully introduce it into their teaching. This paid national fellowship offers training, mentorship, and a network of like-minded peers, providing educators new to AI with the resources they need to integrate this technology thoughtfully.The fellowship runs from June 2025-May 2026.
- Summer 2025: Classroom policies for AI use
- Fall 2025: AI foundational skills and student bootcamps
- Winter 2025: Incorporating AI into your curricula and teacher-led projects
- Spring 2025: Sharing projects and conference preparation
Fellows will develop classroom policies, explore AI ethics, machine learning, computer vision, and navigate AI-generated content, all while gaining hands-on experience as facilitators for MCF AI Bootcamps in November 2025.
Who Should Apply?
- High school teachers in any subject - yes, even if you’ve never used AI before! If you’re a current CS teacher or experienced with AI, please share this with a colleague. This is an introductory program.
- Educators in schools where 40%+ students are low income.
- Teachers within 120 miles of a Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp location, or apply as one of five virtual fellows from anywhere in the U.S.
What's In It For You?
- $1,000 stipend for your commitment. Participation is required for payment.
- Support to implement ethical AI policies and create projects for your school or classroom.
- AI training, which will allow you to facilitate AI Bootcamps live with high school students in November.
- Twice-monthly virtual meetings with a community of like-minded educators from June 2025 to May 2026.
- An opportunity to present your work at a national conference in Summer 2026.
