The Mark Cuban Foundation Teacher Fellowship is a yearlong professional development program designed to empower high school educators—regardless of subject area—to learn about AI and thoughtfully introduce it into their teaching.
This paid national fellowship offers training, mentorship, and a network of like-minded peers, providing educators new to AI with the resources they need to integrate this technology thoughtfully. The fellowship runs from June 2026-May 2027.

- 10% of teachers are selected from the applicant pool. Remaining applicants are invited to Teacher Bootcamps.
- High school teachers from every subject who are passionate about their students and eager to apply AI thoughtfully.
- Educators in schools where 40%+ students are low income.
- Teachers within 120 miles of a Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp location.
- $1,000 stipend. Participation is required for payment.
- Support to implement ethical AI policies and create projects for their school or classroom.
- AI training, which will allow fellows to facilitate AI Bootcamps live with high school students in November.
- Twice-monthly virtual meetings with a community of like-minded educators from June 2026 to May 2027.
- An opportunity to present their work at a national conference in Summer 2027.
